This Lord’s Day will bring us to the final sermon in our series on Paul’s letter to Philemon. Before us in vv.21-25 are Paul’s closing words. There are four things to note in these final verses and from each of them we can draw out lessons to challenge us in our walk with Christ. Preaching through this letter has been a tremendous blessing to my own soul and I pray that it has done your soul much good as well–if you’ve listened with a humble faith, then I’m sure it no doubt has. We’ve learned much from this letter about loving communication and loving relationships. I pray it will bring forth a great harvest in your marriages, your parenting, your church life, your work life, and your public life.
